As the Philadelphia Eagles tried to march down the field against the Atlanta Falcons in the final minute and change Monday night, quarterback Sam Bradford got picked off.
Bradford fired a bullet to Jordan Matthews, but the ball deflected off his hands and was caught by the Ricardo Allen of the Falcons.
Up 26-24, ATL ran the clock out.
It’s a Week 1 loss, which hurts, but Matthews seemed downright devastated:
Philly had one timeout, about a minute left and a long way to go, but it would have been interesting to see if Bradford, Matthews and Darren Sproles could make something happen.
