So much for a relatively uninspiring slate of college football games in Week 2.
Instead, we got treated to what was likely the first of many crazy weekends full of late drama, thrilling comebacks and plenty of near-misses—a few upsets too, all of which led to some notable movement in the power rankings.
Bleacher Report's power rankings are comprised of an average of five sources: B/R's weekly top 25, the Associated Press and Amway Coaches polls, ratings guru Jeff Sagarin's computer rankings and the author's personal ranking of every school. The top 50 teams are broken down individually, while the rest of the 128 FBS teams are summarized in a few easy-to-digest chunks.
